SportsNet Launches Adapted Sports Expos

SportsNet’s Adapted Sports EXPOS are designed to allow guests to spend time exploring a variety of the programs offered during the course of a year. Held in a gymnasium, EXPOS allow space to set up mini-arenas for sports such as Wheelchair Basketball, Sled Hockey, Adapted Cycling, Outrigger Canoeing, Golf, and Power Soccer. Guests are assisted in assessing their ability to use the adaptive equipment and are guided by skilled Therapeutic Recreation staff and volunteers in basic maneuvers of the sports.
